Weekly Wall Ball Challenge

10 minutes a day, 3 times a week. Each Sunday we give a shout-out and a prize to players who complete the challenge — must be 3 separate days at 10+ minutes each, not one 30-minute session.

General

What grades/ages does LYLA serve?
LYLA serves players in Kindergarten through 8th Grade for both our Boys and Girls programs.
Do my kids need prior lacrosse experience to join?
Absolutely not. We welcome players of all experience levels, from first-timers to seasoned competitors.
What equipment does my child need?
Equipment list per program coming soon.
How do I register?

Spring Season

What does the spring season include?
Spring is our primary competitive season. It includes league play, two practices per week, and scheduled games.
When does spring registration open?
To be confirmed once Spring 2027 details are finalized.

Fall Season

Is the fall season competitive?
Fall is our development season, focused on skill-building, player growth, and love of the game. Boys Middle School players also have the opportunity to participate in the PLL Sixes tournament series.
What is PLL Sixes?
PLL Sixes is an Olympic-style lacrosse format featuring fast-paced, smaller-sided gameplay for the boys side of the program. LYLA is partnering with PLL Play and Battle Lacrosse Club for the Sixes Jam tournament series this fall at Denmark High School in Alpharetta, GA.
Is the Select Tryout/Evaluation mandatory?
Yes. All Boys and Girls Middle School players are required to attend the mandatory Select Tryout/Evaluation held at the final Sunday evening practice in October. This determines spring team placement.

Coaching & Volunteering

Are there paid coaching opportunities?
Yes. Paid coaching positions are available based on experience. Please reach out through our Contact page.
What do I get as a board member volunteer?
Board member volunteers receive full registration fee waivers. We're always looking for dedicated parents to help grow the program.

Do you have any private lesson recommendations?
Yes, we're happy to provide options for private or small group lessons. Reach out to the program Director for either the Boys or Girls program.
What other information is required to register?
A valid US Lacrosse membership is required for all players — you'll be asked for your US Lacrosse number during registration. Purchase membership at usalacrosse.com/membership. Fees are $35 for an individual membership or $60 for a family membership.
What communication app do you use for team communication?
Team Hub: once you register with LYLA you'll be sent access to our team communication app — currently TeamSnap.
